Sunday is a Top or Flop day! On these days, we will tell you about the pet-related products we've tested. We are not getting compensation for these tests. This is just a way of saving you money by letting you know what works and what doesn't. If it's the Top or Flop, you'll learn it right here!

Today's product of the day:
ScratchNot
Training Spray

  1. Helps protect home furnishings
  2. Spray on furniture, drapes and carpets
  3. Safe for your cat
Looking at the bottle:

Ingredients: LemonOil, EucalyptusOil, SP115C(whatever that is),PEG-7 Glycertl Cocoate(?)

Claims: Spray ScratchNot wherever you don't want your cat to be and say no more. The harmless spray is undetectable to you, but keeps most cats from scratching furnishings.

Instructions(from bottle): Apply a small amount to fabric surface you want to protect. Observe your cat's behavior-cats will have varying responses to ScratchNot spray. Reapply as often as needed.

Results:  Smells great! Definitely not undetectable to me(at least not upon application), but it smells so good, I'm not complaining! Needs reapplied frequently, but that's not a problem! It works. My cats completely stopped scratching the surfaces they normally scratch and use the scratching post instead! Now if it didn't have those chemicals in it...

I'll give this product a nine, because it does what it says, it's safe, but with unknown chemicals. It is a great value. I got it at Walmart (I'm starting to detect a theme here...) I recommend this product to anyone with cats.
